About Ch. Lafont Menaut
Château Lafont Menaut is located in the heart of Pessac-Léognan in the city of Martillac, 15 km south of Bordeaux. Their vineyards are close to the Crus Classés of Latour-Martillac and Smith-Haut-Lafitte. In the 18th century, the domain belonged to Charles de Secondat (Baron de Montesquieu), a famous writer and winemaker. In the early 90s of the last century, Philibert Perrin, already active on the Château Carbonnieux estate, committed to replanting the vines to breathe new life into the ancestral vineyard. The vineyards with a total area of ??14 hectares benefit optimally from the combination of a good geographical location and the exceptional orientation.
